Why do it?

Be part of a mental health movement

Fun runs. Push up challenges. Quitting junk food. We’ve heard of all these challenges before…but the Reach 7x7 is a new fundraising mental health challenge with a unique point of difference.

By taking part, you’re not only raising vital funds for our work - you’re also joining a mental health movement on mass.

Just like our physical health benefits from exercising every day, our mental health improves when we work on it consistently. By completing the 7x7 challenge, you're investing time into your own mental health.

Each daily challenge draws on unique activities taken from our social and emotional wellbeing workshops - so you’ll be getting a heap out of it.

Enter the unknown, experience the Reach effect and take positive steps towards your own mental health.

So, why do it?

Have the experience of a young person in a workshop

Our workshops are famous for breaking down barriers, fostering connection and improving the wellbeing of over 50,000 young people each year. In 2022, we’re challenging all Australians – young and old – to do exactly what we ask of these young people every day:
Be brave and enter the unknown.

Entering the unknown helps us grow

Being open to the random challenges life throws at us can help us grow. If you can spare 7 minutes a day for 7 days to better prepare you for life's ups and downs, then join an Australia-wide fundraiser like no other. You'll be helping others grow too.

We're in this together

This is a group exercise, not a solo challenge. In the same 7 days, other Australians will be on the same journey and rising to the same challenges. Just like our group workshops, we’ll be right there alongside you.

judgement free zone

Just like our physical health benefits from exercising each day, our mental health improves when we work on it consistently. So we encourage you to try and undertake all 7 challenges across the week!

But this is a judgement free zone - we get that not every challenge won't feel right for everyone, and that’s ok - give it a miss! Instead spend your 7 minutes that day doing something that feels right for your mental health.
